Some memories from the last year!
We recently invited Mrs Wells to come and see the WWII projects we have been working on. We could pick any topic we wanted related to WWII. Some of us chose the aircraft used in the war, others chose issues about being back home during the war. Here are some pictures of our projects...
Year 6 have had an amazing first term and have produced some work to be proud of also! We have made a lot of progress in maths an English and we have thoroughly enjoyed our history topic: World War II. We had a very interesting time visiting the Beth Shalom centre, where we met a holocaust survivor- Stephen Mendelson. he told us his life story and invited us to ask him questions about the war. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Year 6 had a great time today dressing up as their favourite Roald Dahl characters. We also took this opportunity to show off the writing skills e have been perfecting. This included using subordinate clauses, adverbial phrases, similes, metaphors and ambitious vocabulary. This work will be exhibited at the Roald Dahl assembly on Thursday 15th September. We also had an incredible afternoon sketching our favourite characters in the style of Quentin Blake. Enjoy the photos!
